Active Investor Plus

The investor pathway allows applicants to obtain a permanent visa through investment in New Zealand. Partners and dependent children can be included in the application.

According to Immigration New Zealand: “The objective of the Active Investor Plus visa category is to attract skilled and experienced active investors to help build globally successful New Zealand businesses that align with Government’s objectives, by providing resident visas to those who wish to participate in New Zealand’s investment ecosystem and make a significant contribution to New Zealand's economy.”

Visa Requirements

Aside for the standard health and character requirements, principal applicants under the Active Investor Plus must meet English language requirements and have nominated funds and/or assets equivalent in value to at least NZD 15 million or weighted equivalent.

Time in New Zealand

The principal applicant spends a minimum period in New Zealand of 117 days as the holder of a resident visa during the 48-month investment period.
