Health

All visa applicants must meet the acceptable standard of health requirements of Immigration New Zealand. Health waivers may be possible. This can also include the special educational needs of children in school and HIV status. There are different ways to approach this assessment depending on the type of visa applied for. It requires a knowledge how the health system operates and the funding available as well as an understanding of the immigration laws.

Character

All visa applicants must meet the character requirements of Immigration New Zealand. These include instance of criminal offending, fraud, provision of false or misleading information, previous deportations/removal, exclusions from other countries. Each of these requires a thorough and nuanced consideration of the circumstance as well as an understanding of the way the immigrations laws operate in New Zealand. We can assist with putting forward the best case for a character waiver.
